When washing, there are some useful tips on the sleeves to speed up the cleaning process and even maintain the quality of your favorite clothes. Due to friction, swings can affect certain garments, especially knitwear and pullovers.

When you see the fluffing of your favorite pullover, it is usually because of friction that the fibers on the surface of the clothes rub against each other.

The underarm area or both sides of the jumper may be the most affected area.

Wool, nylon, cotton and polyester are often affected by this problem.

However, according to Deyan Dimitrov, the CEO of Laundryheap, there are steps you can take to reduce the problem when you put in the next item of clothing.

Before you start washing, it is important to understand the maintenance techniques of your clothes.

Mr. Dimitrov said: "This cannot be emphasized enough, because you need to know what you are doing.

"A real wolf in sheep's clothing, in fact, not many'wool' sweaters are made of 100% wool, but are mixed with fibers such as nylon, cotton, and acrylic. And because some fibers are easier to wear than others, so Different combinations can cause severe damage to your skin.

"So, if you can, choose high-quality natural fibers, such as cotton, cashmere and wool, and stay away from acrylic."

Although it may sound obscure, both white vinegar and conditioner help reduce foaming.

Mr. Dimitrov recommends soaking your clothes in white vinegar and water, as this will "relax" the coarse fibers.

He said: “Although it is tempting to soak sweaters in fabric softeners, natural alternatives are usually just as good and even more effective.

"Soak the problematic clothes in white vinegar and an aqueous solution for about 20 minutes, drain them, and always lay the woolen fabric flat to air dry."

He added that white vinegar can also "anti-mold."

If vinegar does not solve the problem, Mr. Dimitrov suggests to go one step further and "treat your sweater specially."

He said: "Like frizz, clothing fibers need moisture to prevent them from abrading and scratching your skin.

"So when it's wet, massage your favorite conditioner onto the fibers, rinse with cold water, air dry, and voila. The sweater is as soft as your hair."

Admittedly, throwing your clothes in the refrigerator sounds a bit crazy, but according to the CEO of Laundryheap, it can do wonders in preventing bubbles.

He said: "Doing this will lock the fibers in place so they won't fall off and pierce you.

"Freezing is also a good way to keep wool products away from moths and their eggs.

"Just make sure the clothes are completely dry before going in-you don't want to thaw your Christmas sweater and turkey."

Use a fabric razor to handle any pills or bubbles

In the event of damage, make sure you have suitable reinforcements on hand.

Mr. Dimitrov said: "Invest in a trustworthy fabric razor and eliminate the small hairballs that bother you every year.

"Place the razor lightly on the sweater and remove the pills without damaging the material."
