MOORESVILLE-Sheets Laundry Club received $500,000 from Daniel Lubetzky, the founder of KIND Snacks and SOMO Foods, "Guest Shark", who appeared on the TV show "Shark Tank".

The Charlotte Observer reported on the terms of the deal and noted that the co-founders received investment from Lubetzky in exchange for 8% ownership of the company and 2% consulting shares.

The company currently offers discount codes related to the TV show SHARKTANK15.

One of the company’s products is laundry tablets, which the company describes on its website as "pre-weighed dehydrating tablets that can be dissolved immediately during washing."

The company notes on its website that its products are more environmentally friendly than existing detergents because "the bed sheets remove the harsh chemicals commonly found in plastic and mainstream detergents."

It also offers other products.

The business magazine also reported the company's appearance on the Shark Tank.
