According to a report by the North American Textile Services Association TRSA, the family of the late CEO Kevin Minissian of Norchem Corp and employees of the laundry chemicals company he founded recently announced the establishment of a memorial fund in the name of Minissian.

The Kevin Minissian Memorial Fund will support students working in water treatment and recycling technologies-this work is the same as Minissian's 40 years of research to improve the efficiency and environmental performance of commercial laundries in North America.

The memorial fund aims to pay tribute to Minissian and the California Institute of Technology faculty and staff for their research on water treatment issues. Specifically, Minissian collaborated extensively with Michael R Hoffmann, professor of environmental sciences at the California Institute of Technology.

“One of Kevin’s passionate projects includes establishing an active partnership with the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, where he participated in advanced electrochemical projects in close collaboration with Hoffman Laboratories,” TRSA reports . "To commemorate his continued passion for innovation, Norchem Corporation and his family established the Kevin Minisian Memorial Fund at the California Institute of Technology. This gratitude and respect is a respect for his legacy and will support the Hoffman Group Of students and their research in the field of water treatment and recycling technology."

According to a statement from the company, although Norchem's family and employees continue to grieve for the loss of its founders and leaders, the company is still fully operational and can help customers and potential customers. "As we continue to deal with this news individually and as a community, the Norchem family remains committed to serving our customers and building our traditional Norchem brand with pride and commitment."

Minissian died on November 23* after being attacked by a gunman in Pasadena, California. The alleged attacker also died in the daylight incident. The police are continuing their investigation. At the same time, a funeral for Minissian is planned to be held at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood Hills, California at 9:30 am PST on December 23. Those who cannot participate in person can click here (password Minissian) to participate online.
