Cocker Spaniel puppies Hugo and Hattie have locks gorgeous enough to put most hair commercials to shame – they'd even be the envy of Rapunzel.

The British pooches have won millions of fans after two videos of their owner brushing their silky fur went viral on TikTok.

The pair have long and healthy fur which they wear in different styles, including braids and plaits.

In a clip with more than 21 million views and 3,2 million likes, their owner, who remains unnamed, is seen gently brushing Hattie’s luxurious brown fur.

This had viewers pining for the doggies’ flowing tresses.

“I never thought I would be jealous of a dog but here we are,” said one.

Some viewers said they wanted the same haircare treatment Hattie was getting, while others teased that they would be showing their hairdressers the video as a reference for their next looks.

Hugo caught the eye of influencers and businesses, with one jokingly remarking, "L'Oréal gonna sign her for shampoo commercials."

To keep their hair healthy and beautiful, the dogs' owner washes them once a week using a dog shampoo which contains shea butter, coconut and vitamin E. 

Dog shampoo videos are popular on TikTok and experts have stressed the importance of using dog shampoos and not human shampoo on our furry friends.

When human shampoo is used on a dog, the protective coating on their hair is damaged, making them susceptible to bacteria, viruses and parasites. 

It's best for dog owners to use dog shampoos suitable for their dog's specific type of coat.
